Brandon Bolden (knee) has been ruled out for Week 8.
Bolden has now missed back-to-back games, and the Pats haven't offered so much as a hint as to when he may return. He should be considered week-to-week.
Steelers RB Isaac Redman is reportedly battling problems with both ankles.
Redman practiced on Friday, and reportedly felt so good that he now believes he has a chance to play Sunday versus the Redskins. If he does suit up, Redman is likely to be limited to a passing-down role behind Jonathan Dwyer. Rashard Mendenhall is expected to return in Week 9.
Donald Brown (questionable, knee) will be a game-time decision in Week 8 against the Titans.
Brown got in at least a limited practice each day this week, and appears on track to return after a two-game absence. His role is unclear, and it's a bit hard to imagine Brown reclaiming primary back duties just a couple of weeks from arthroscopic knee surgery.
Jimmy Graham (ankle, questionable) is officially a game-time decision for Week 8 after getting in another limited practice on Friday.
The word comes straight from interim coach Joe Vitt. It's an upgrade on last week, where Graham didn't even make the Saints' trip to Tampa, but his status still appears to be in question.
Hakeem Nicks (knee) is officially probable for Week 8.
Nicks is ready to roll against Dallas' imposing pass defense after getting in his first full slate of practices of the season.
Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) was limited in Friday's practice, and is officially questionable for Week 8.
Bradshaw got in extremely few — possibly zero — practice reps this week, but has done so multiple times before suiting up in the past. It's obviously unideal from a fantasy standpoint, but there's simply no reason to believe he won't start and believe for a near-typical workload against the Cowboys.
A foot specialist told Pierre Garcon that he could need surgery to repair the plantar-plate tear in his right second toe.
Garcon was given the options of rest or surgery. Since going under the knife would end his season, Garcon chose rest. "We don't really want to think about that at all," Garcon said of the surgery option. He risks dislocating the toe if he plays on it before it's fully healed. We don't expect to see Garcon until Week 11 at the earliest. It's quite possible that this will turn out to be a lost season.
