Ne vredi vise od AB, slazem se..ali verujem da ce i AB traziti povisicu uskoro

kb moramo se ipak razlilaziti oko necega, glupo je da bude 100% kao u poslednje vreme

Istina, bilo bi dosadno

Fićo, zamisli da si GM i da dođe no.1 WR i top5 WR u ligi i traži minimum 20 miliona po sezoni idućih 5 godina a pri tom
-imaš omatorelog QB pred penzijom i nemaš nikakve garancije da ćeš to uspešno rešiti u skorije vreme
-imaš OL koja je među najlošijim u ligi i pri tom su četvorica od pet najboljih iz te linije FA za par dana
-pod ugovorom imaš cirka 2 LB pod ugovorom a imaš novog DC koji će vrlo verovatno preći na 3-4 bazno.
-imaš ST koji je bottom 5 u ligi u maltene svim kategorijama
-taj WR je  poznat po svojim"vannastavnim aktivnostima" podjednako koliko je poznat po svojoj igri

Šta bi ti uradio u takvoj situaciji

Peyton Manning ::WR i nije igrac koji ce doneti titulu sam

Wild Raven ::imaš omatorelog QB pred penzijom i nemaš nikakve garancije da ćeš to uspešno rešiti u skorije vreme

ovo je upravo razlog zasto mu ne bi dao toliki ugovor. neki franchise tag sasvim odgovarajuci.
NYG imaju taman tih 20 miliona salary cap-a. Ukoliko mu ponude taj ugovor, a uzimajuci u obzir ostatak igrackog kadra oni su zavrsili za narednih 5 sezona. Plus koliko god deficitarnih pozicija ima u NFL-u, WR nije medju njima. mislim da se tu najlakse moze naci zamena. Tako da mislim da nema sanse da mu Mare ponude tolike pare. To moze proci u nekim Dzetsima

Pri tom nemamo apsolutno nikakvu predstavu ( ako zanemarimo plesne pokrete u čuvenoj reklami sa Ilijom ) kako će delovati kad se vrati na teren nakon season ending povrede.

Ima peta godina ugovora, ima dve godine franšizovanja...pa on neka razmisli da li će da traži 20+ miliona, ili će pristati na neku razumniju cifru kada krenu razgovori.

plus nije igrao protekle sezone koja je statisticki bila jedna od najlosijih ilijinih. pitanje je kako bi se snasao sa losijim qb. Nije svako Hopkins

Nick Fairley - DL - Free Agent

The New Orleans Advocate reports free agent DT Nick Fairley (heart) wants to continue his career.
Per reporter Nick Underhill, it "almost certainly" won't be with the Saints. The Saints released Fairley early last month. Fairley evidently could not pass a physical in New Orleans but it's possible someone else will take a chance. Fairley remained effective before his heart issues cropped up.

Taylor Gabriel - WR - Free Agent

Free agent WR Taylor Gabriel tweeted his farewell to the Falcons.
The message confirms the Falcons will let the speedy receiver leave in free agency. Gabriel exploded onto the scene with seven touchdowns over his final eight games of 2016, but he found the end zone just once last season while catches 33 passes for 378 yards. Gabriel turned 27 in February

Morris Claiborne - DB - Jets

Newsday reports "at least" 8-10 teams are interested in free agent CB Morris Claiborne.
This is a standard agent leak, though Claiborne is one of the top 6-7 corners available. The Jets reportedly opened talks with Claiborne's reps last month. Claiborne had a pedestrian 2017.

Josh Gordon - WR - Browns

Coach Hue Jackson said he wants Josh Gordon to be with the Browns "for a long time."
"He’s having a really good offseason," Jackson said of Gordon. "Obviously, he’s got to continue to do so and continue to do the right things, but I truly believe that Josh Gordon is going to have a great year for us." Gordon is an exclusive rights free agent this year and will be a restricted free agent in 2019, so the Browns can have him under cheap team control for the next two seasons. That said, Cleveland might look to sign him to a long-term deal if he puts together a big and controversy-free 2018.

A.J. McCarron - QB - Bengals

Browns coach Hue Jackson does not want to start a rookie quarterback Week 1.
"I would hope there’s other things," Jackson said. "There are going to be other opportunities. We have free agency right upon us." The Browns are widely expected to select a quarterback with one of their top two picks -- Nos. 1 and 4 overall -- but Jackson would like to land a veteran quarterback in free agency as well. After trying to trade for him last season, the Browns are a natural landing spot for A.J. McCarron.

Dante Fowler - DL - Jaguars

Jaguars DE Dante Fowler has pled no contest to simple battery and mischief charges stemming from his July 2017 arrest.
Fowler got into a dispute that involved stomping a man's glasses and throwing his groceries into a lake. He's been sentenced to probation and community service. Fowler notched eight sacks on 569 snaps last season but earned low marks from Pro Football Focus.

Jarvis Landry - WR - Dolphins
The Miami Herald reports the Bears have emerged as a trade "possibility" for franchise tagged WR Jarvis Landry.

Reporter Barry Jackson also passes along that Landry will soon sign the tag, a necessary precursor to any deal. Per Jackson, Chicago is one of multiple teams that has emerged as a possible suitor. The Dolphins have told Landry they will not be making a long-term offer "at this time," but that they would be comfortable with him playing under the $16 million tag in 2018. That's hard to believe for a cap-strapped team that has indicated time and again it was ready for Landry to walk. The Dolphins have granted Landry permission to seek a trade, meaning both sides are working on a potential move out of town.

Dion Lewis - RB - Patriots
Profootballtalk reports as many as 6-7 teams are expected to pursue free agent Dion Lewis.

You get a lot of these kinds of reports this time of year, but this one is actually believable. Per Mike Florio, "potentially interested teams" are the Jets, Texans, 49ers, Raiders and Colts. Lewis is a hot commodity because he's an elite change-of-pace option who can bang between the tackles if necessary. That's what he did for the Patriots in 2017. Lewis was quite a find for the Pats, but he will likely get too expensive for their liking on the open market.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins - TE - Jets
Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline reports free agent Austin Seferian-Jenkins could re-sign with the Jets for two years and $12 million.

SNY reported last month that ASJ turned down a two-year, $8 million offer that was "short on guarantees." Two years, $12 million could be a stretch for a player who averaged a stunningly-low 7.1 yards per catch in 2017.

Sto kaze dule,ovo dodatno komplikuje situaciju oko trejda Landry-a.Vjerovatno i znaci da je Suh bivsi.

Nije mi jasan Majami. Oni su najbedniji tim u nfl.u. Kod njih retko koji igrač je odradio pun ugovor.
