Najveci problem napada tj OFANZIVNA LINIJA je nadogradjena veteranom na Centru, gde  je bila najveca rupa, i oslanjaju se na to da ce LG za kog smo trejdovali prosle sezone Ezra Clivlend da bude dobar starter, imamo 2 LT, i jos jednog  rukija na OT Fostera. Ali je IOL bez deptha, i kvaliteta, Morse je bolji Centar od FOrtnera, i izgleda da polazu sva nade na to.

In the Chat Therapy segment, Gus pointed out a problem (and solution) for Jacksonville’s offense.

“I’ve noticed a lot of times when they’re doing play action, it’s obviously from under center, but a lot of it is dropping back in the pocket and trying to attack very far downfield, as opposed to the Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay-type schemes where a lot of times it’s a bootleg — because it’s an extension of their run game with wide zone — and they ended up booting out a lot and getting their quarterback on the run.

“This season, Lawrence ranks third in dropbacks that are play action inside of the pocket with 24 such dropbacks, and he ranks 25th with just 3 play action dropbacks outside the pocket [per Sports Info Solutions]. Lawrence is- he’s doing play action, having to turn his back, and then having to read defenders after the full second with his back turned and with the full pocket kind of collapsing on him.

“And so I think it will be a lot easier for Jacksonville’s offensive line and their quarterback if they did more rollout-type play action throws. And I know that they don’t necessarily major in wide zone as much as McVay and Shanahan do — or especially used to — but they still run wide zone enough that I think it can be effective, and it would just set up so many more easy completions.

“Because Lawrence, his completion percentage on play action when he’s inside of the pocket is just 68.2% which ranks 22nd in the league. And so if you’re able to get him just an easy throw into the flat or at least get him into space ... I would like to see, kind of like I was saying earlier, the layups with Trevor Lawrence.”
