Jake Matthews - T - Player

A source tells ESPN that the Jaguars "could be targeting" Texas A&M OT Jake Matthews at No. 3 overall.
The Jags used the No. 2 overall pick on a Texas A&M tackle last year in Luke Joeckel. They also have a reasonable in-house candidate at right tackle in Austin Pasztor. Matthews would be a safe pick, but Buffalo edge player Khalil Mack and Clemson WR Sammy Watkins each bring more upside and fill a bigger need.

The Houston Chronicle believes the Texans are "trying to decide" between Jadeveon Clowney and Johnny Manziel at No. 1 overall.
Reporter John McClain has been insisting for months that the Texans will select a quarterback at No. 1 overall, but is now leaving the door open for Clowney or a trade. The truth is, it doesn't appear anyone really knows what the Texans have in store for the draft's first pick. We should get a better idea over the next nine days.

According to NFL.com's Gil Brandt, "some teams" have Eastern Illinois QB Jimmy Garoppolo rated ahead of Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater on their draft boards.
Brandt believes there's a "possibility" Garoppolo is selected before Bridgewater, which would send the draftnik community into a tailspin. Brandt acknowledges a team doing so, "might be (making a) mistake." Garoppolo generated a lot of buzz early in the draft process, but lacks a powerful arm and struggles when pressured. Bridgewater is noticeably comfortable when faced with chaos.

Once upon a time, Seantrel Henderson was one of the most sought-after high school prospects in the country.

Now when it’s time for him to make the next step, he’s doing everything he can to damage his own stock, again.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, NFL teams were notified that Henderson tested positive for marijuana at the Scouting Combine.

Now, setting aside the legality or wisdom of smoking marijuana, as many of our readers live in Colorado, it was still horrible timing for Henderson.

Put simply, you know you’re going to be tested at the Combine, well in advance. So doing something that puts you in jeopardy of failing that test means either you don’t care or you don’t think you’ll get caught, neither of which is a good impression to make on prospective employers.

Henderson also didn’t finish his pro day workout, though his agent said he was sick.

But with three suspension at Miami, including one for marijuana use, a lot of teams are going to be very wary of Henderson, even more than they were before.
