Houston Texans: Coach Gary Kubiak was fired Dec. 6. The Texans have already interviewed former Bears coach Lovie Smith, Texans interim head coach Wade Phillips and Penn State coach Bill O'Brien. San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt is next on the team's wish list for an interview, but NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport notes with San Diego in the postseason, the Texans can't talk to Whisenhunt for another week at least.
