Nate Washington is listed as a starter on the Titans' "unofficial" preseason depth chart.
In the end, it's just a piece of paper the Titans are required to put out, but should still come across as a message to Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter. The Titans have insisted that Washington remains a big part of their plans, but we'd still expect receiver-needy teams to inquire as to his availability.

Titans coaches frustrated with Justin Hunter
According to the Nashville Tennessean, rookie WR Justin Hunter's inconsistent hands and passive on-field mentality "frustrate coaches."
Titans coaches aren't just slamming Hunter day in and day out to motivate him. Per reliable beat writer Jim Wyatt, Hunter is dropping too many passes and making too many mental mistakes. In the preseason opener, Hunter didn't finish his run at the end of a short third-down reception, forcing a Titans punt. Wyatt believes "a lot of patience will be required" for Hunter's development.

Kenny Britt was benched for a stretch of the Week 2 loss at Houston because "coaches were tired of his mistakes and his lackadaisical approach to blocking."
The benching was brief as Britt ended up playing on 62-of-72 snaps. It's still a bad sign that the mercurial talent is five years into the league and still making errors that infuriate coaches. His routes have lacked precision and he's been hit with two holding penalties. Britt has just five catches for 43 yards and no touchdowns through two games.

Nevertheless, it's an amusing metaphor. Benched for a stretch of Sunday's loss in Houston, Britt has just five catches through two games, and has graded out as a bottom-four receiver in Pro Football Focus' ratings. His tweet, which will likely soon be deleted, will only land him further in the doghouse.
